Description
The mobile chillers of the QSI series [Q(uantor) S(mart) I(nverter)] consist of a refrigeration unit, an insulated stainless steel buffer tank, and an electric heating element. All main components – evaporator, compressor, condenser, and electronic expansion valve (EEV) – are mounted on a sturdy base frame and are easily accessible through easily removable powder-coated sheet steel housing panels. The fans with discharge nozzle for optimal heat dissipation are mounted on the top side. The QSI units are mobile on wheels and are therefore very flexible with regard to their installation location.
The inverter compressor used, in combination with EC fans and the electronic expansion valve, enables infinitely variable capacity control between 15% and 100%. This reduces compressor starts, increases the service life of the system, and enables energy savings of up to 30% compared to uncontrolled systems. The system is controlled via an LED touch display, which enables simple and clear operation.
The QSI series comprises three sizes and covers a performance range from 1 kW* to 21.7 kW*. For the smallest model QSI 71, refrigerant R290 (propane, GWP 3**) is used, while the two larger models QSI 131 and QSI 221 with capacities above 12 kW* operate with R32 (GWP 675**).
The QSI units therefore meet the current requirements of the F-Gas Regulation and offer a future-proof solution for a wide variety of applications.
