Description
This new series of thermo-ventilators - SD-N Plus - is suitable for cooling or heating larger rooms and halls at positive ambient temperatures. The units are designed for operation with existing refrigeration systems and can be easily integrated into the existing system.
The SD-N Plus housing is made of stainless steel, which on the one hand gives the units an elegant appearance and on the other hand makes them perfectly suitable for use in humid environments, such as wine cellars, cold rooms, and storage rooms.
The SD-N Plus units are available in four different sizes, equipped with up to four highly efficient fans.
Options / Accessories
The defrost kit is an electric heating element consisting of thin metal heating rods mounted in suitable recesses below the heat exchanger. This facilitates installation and ensures even heating and therefore safe defrosting. The defrost heater melts the frozen condensate that accumulates on the fins when the thermo-ventilator operates with glycol water below the freezing point. Periodic defrosting enables the use of MR, SD-S, SD-N Plus, and TA units in cold rooms. The melted condensate flows into the integrated drip tray and is discharged from there. If a defrost device is used, the FermFlex-Defrost controller must be used, which controls both the fan valve for cooling and the heating element for defrosting.
