Description
This new range of thermo fans – SD-N / SN-N Plus – is designed for cooling or heating larger rooms and halls at positive ambient temperatures. The units are designed to operate with existing refrigeration systems and can be easily integrated into the existing system.
The housing of the SD-N / SN-N Plus units is made of galvanized, painted steel (SD-N) or stainless steel (SD-N PLUS), giving the units an elegant appearance. Both versions are perfectly suited for use in humid environments, such as wine cellars, cold storage rooms, and warehouses. The SD-N / SD-N Plus are available in four different sizes and are equipped with up to four high-efficiency fans.
Options / Accessories
The defrost kit consists of electric heating elements installed underneath the heat exchanger. It ensures uniform heating to melt the ice that may form on the fins when operating with glycol water below freezing temperatures.
The melted condensate flows into the integrated drip tray and is drained from there. When using the defrost heater, the FermFlex-Defrost controller must be used. It controls both the fan valve for cooling and the heating element for defrosting.
